Fall fun is close to home with five 2026 harvest festivals near Canby.
Fir Point Farms brings mazes, slides, animals, hay rides and cider to Aurora, while Frog Pond Farm adds llamas, a giant bounce park and 20 acres of Wilsonville fun.
Lee Farms offers a classic pumpkin-patch outing in Tualatin, and Wilsonville’s free one-day festival includes pumpkins, carriage rides, music and face painting.
Families ready for a full-day adventure can head south to Bauman’s for more than 30 activities and special October events.

Clackamas County Winter Fair and Holiday Market returns to Canby across four weekends from November 27 through December 19.
Dates include November 27–28 and December 4–5, 11–12 and 18–19 at the Clackamas County Event Center, 694 NE 4th Avenue.
The all-ages event combines holiday lights with a market featuring décor, candles, jewelry, books, treats, coffee, face painting and other gifts from small vendors.
Current ticket information lists admission at $10 for ages 13 and older, $5 for children 12 and younger, and free entry for children age 3 and younger.
Most listed sessions begin at 5 p.m., but visitors should confirm opening-night timing and current policies.
Bring a reusable shopping bag, dress for the weather and allow extra time for parking and entry.

Canby Adult Center offers a wide October mix of fitness, games, crafts, music and practical learning.
Weekly choices include line dancing, Zumba, Tai Ji Quan, Better Bones and Balance, Geri-Fit, card groups, quilting, ukulele, movies and memoir writing.
A seasonal pumpkin-carving activity is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, October 30, with pumpkins supplied by the center and advance sign-up requested.
The center serves older adults but welcomes anyone who may benefit from participating.
Most programs are offered on a donation basis, though some trips or special activities may require registration or a fee.

Canby Public Library’s Maker Lab is offering hands-on creative activities throughout October.
The seasonal highlight is Cemeterrarium on Saturday, October 24, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., when teens ages 10 through 18 can build a spooky miniature landscape with 3-D printed details.
Registration is required, and every participant must have the correct signed Maker Lab waiver on file before entering.
Other October opportunities include art and 3-D pen sessions, along with library activities such as a cryptid scavenger hunt and an adult spice club while supplies last.
The library is at 220 NE 2nd Avenue and is open Monday through Saturday, with varying weekday and weekend hours.

Spooktacular Village returns to downtown Canby on Saturday, October 31, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Participating businesses will hand out treats while families explore locally created scarecrows and visit downtown merchants.
Canby Fire and the Canby Police Department are also expected to join the afternoon and pass out candy.
The celebration is designed for children of all ages and offers a daylight alternative to late-night trick-or-treating.
Families should bring comfortable shoes, a reusable treat bag and an Oregon-ready rain layer, then use marked crossings and watch for heavier pedestrian traffic.

Easy Oregon Apple Crisp You’ll need: 6 apples, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 3/4 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/3 cup melted butter, and a pinch of salt. Make it: Heat oven to 350°F. Slice the apples and toss with lemon juice and cinnamon, then spread in a greased 8-inch baking dish. Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples and bake 35–40 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are tender. Serve warm — especially good with vanilla ice cream. |
